The time has finally come to release the final Edo & Jo mantra album. It is called Thank You. It is one of three albums Edo has been working on finishing since Jo passed in 2015. The other albums soon to be completed are an album of English songs (Seekers) we were working on and Jo’s solo album Vaani. It is a collection of musical treasures: chants and songs that we started writing and recording in 2013. Some of the tracks were near completion and others needed instrumentation and arrangement to complete. The album was produced with the help and talents of Ohad Rein (Omkar / Old Man River). The song Thank You, like many of Jo’s songs, written long before there was any sign she would be leaving the world, has a prophetic quality with its lyrics: “Thank You for the love you’ve given me i know you want the best for me, I care... Holding to the precious moments now, I wonder if you feel my world turn around. Change is here and I know it's undefined. Even in winter the sun shines from behind. I choose to make it a welcome ground. Thank you for this love The earth may shake and the seas may be screaming for love it’s a taste of new beginnings I chose to flow with the sweetness of this birth Surrender to this Love, remember all is this love…Now I see that you remember me”. It was recorded in Bali with Rob Webber and is one of the most beautiful songs I’ve heard. It’s a universal prayer for all beings and perfectly sums up Jo’s love and her life’s message: Loka Samastah Sukhino Bhavantu May All Beings Be Happy And Free May this album bring you more connection to peace, bliss, inner-freedom and the divine love that you are.
